Choose by material. The GM-2-5AX is the right machine for composite trimming, aluminum profiling and mold and pattern work in foam or modeling board, where 20,000 rpm and fast rapids matter and heavy torque does not. The HDC-3-5AX is for large titanium, Inconel and steel parts, such as aerospace structures, energy components and big molds, that need 60 hp, 110 ft-lbf of torque and a 10,000 lb load rating.
