ShopBot Tools, Inc. designs and manufactures CNC routers in Durham, North Carolina, where the company says it was founded in 1996. Its full-size gantry tools share the PRS5 table design and come in two series, the closed-loop ShopBot Alpha and the entry-level ShopBot Carolina, each with a manual-change and an automatic tool changer version. The company also builds desktop CNC tools.
