Geminis Lathes builds heavy CNC lathes at its plant in Elgoibar, Gipuzkoa, in the Basque Country of Spain, drawing on more than 60 years of lathe making. Its lineup covers the GTi horizontal lathes for parts up to 150 tonnes, the GMi multiprocess mill-turn lathes for machining large parts in one setup, and dedicated railway lathes for axles, wheel hubs and wheelsets. The company machines its own critical components in-house, including grinding bed guides up to 20 m long, and is certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 14006 eco-design.
