Verdict
For general steel and aluminum job-shop parts, the Doosan DNM 4500 is the better choice: it has more than twice the spindle torque, 117.8 N·m (87 ft-lb) against 47.7 N·m (35 ft-lb), plus longer travels, a higher table rating and faster rapids. The DN Solutions DEM 4000 makes sense for drilling, tapping and light milling of small parts, for toolroom or training use, or where the floor plan cannot take the larger machine.
